Type II Diabetes – Difficulty controlling blood sugar levels
Tuesday October 2, 2012
Do you have difficulty in controlling your blood sugar levels on your current antidiabetic medication?
If the answer is yes, you might be suitable to particpate in a clinical research study looking at whether an investigational medication is safe and effective in people with type 2 diabetes who are taking metformin treatment, but whose blood sugar levels are not effectively controlled.
You might be able to participate in the GRAND-304 study if you:
- are 18 years of age or older
- have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- have received less than 7 days of medication, or no medication other than metformin within the past 2 months
- have difficulty in controlling your blood sugar levels.
The study will last for about 118 weeks and will involve approximately 23 visits to a study center. Suitable participants will receive study-related medication and health assessments at no cost.medium
