We are delighted to have Dr. Yasemin Akcakir join our group.  Dr. Akcakir received her bachelor degree in Science from the University of Toronto with a double major in Chemistry and International Relations.  From there she went on to obtain her Master of Science degree in epidemiology from McGill University.    She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Calgary before returning to  Toronto to complete her family medicine residency at the St. Michael’s Hospital.

Dr. Akcakir is fluent in English and French.
