Dr. Rachita Gurtu has been practicing as a Family Physician since 2006. Born and raised in Alberta, she completed her medical degree at University of Calgary and her residency at University of Alberta. She worked in Edmonton after her graduation, before moving to Melbourne, Australia where she worked as a full-time Family Physician for 4 years. Though she thoroughly enjoyed her time in the land of kangaroos, she decided to return home to Canada last year. She is looking forward to settling down in the exciting city of Toronto.

Dr. Gurtu enjoys the diversity of Family Practice and looks after patients of all age groups. Her special interests are in Women’s Health including pap smear screening and family planning, Prenatal Care and Pediatrics.
